The Third annual Marquee Triathlon  will kick off the southwest triathlon season in style, with Olympic and Sprint distance events, offering a little something for everyone from the first time triathlete to the seasoned pro.

REGISTRATION

This is a USAT sanctioned event. 

*Non-USAT members will be required to pay an additional $12, for a 1 day license from USAT. More information about USAT is listed here.

RACE DIVISIONS

Age Groups - broken down to 5-year increments, based on your age as of December 31, 2013.

Relay Teams - consist of two or three members.  For 2-person teams, one person must do two of the legs.  For 3-person teams, each person does one leg.  We have had some creative team names, costumes, etc., so bring it!

Friday, April 12
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Expo, registration and packet pickup available at Tempe Beach Park
4 p.m. Athlete meeting under the white registration tent at Tempe Beach Park. Seating provided.

NO BIKE CHECK IN TODAY

*The expo will feature a complimentary kids zone all three days with an inflatable slide, materials to create encouraging signs for their favorite athlete and other fun activities for kids.*  

 

Saturday, April 13
5:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Expo open at Tempe Beach Park
7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Registration and packet pickup open at Tempe Beach park
Noon Athlete meeting under white registration tent. Seating provided.
3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Transition opens at Tempe Center for the Arts.

3:00 p.m. - Bike Check In 

*The transition area will be patrolled all evening by a professional security team.*

 

Sunday, April 14 — RACE DAY
4:45 a.m. – 6:15 a.m. Race day transition open. All bikes must be racked no later than 6:15 a.m. No exceptions.
6 a.m. – 3 p.m. Expo open at Tempe Beach Park
7 a.m. Leadman Tri Marquee start
8 a.m. Life Time Tri Marquee international distance start
9 a.m. Life Time Tri Marquee sprint distance start
11:30 a.m. International and sprint transition open to pick up bikes.
12:30 p.m. Leadman Tri transition open to pick up bikes.

 

*Only athletes will be allowed in transition to pick up their gear. No friends or family members.*

DIRECTIONS / PARKING

Parking is available (limited) for athletes at the US Airways parking garage on Saturday. Parking on Sunday in the US Airways building is FREE! Once the garage is full you will need to park on city streets OR at other parking logs near Rio Salado and Mill Avenue.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

The race course and timeline can be changed at the discretion of the race organization. All distances are approximate by GPS measurements. The race can be altered, postponed or cancelled with no refunds due to weather, natural disturbances, police activity, acts/threats of terrorism,  or other reasons beyond our reasonable control.  In the event a race is cancelled or altered due to any of the above, there will be absolutely no refunds, credits or transfers.
